Chris Mills
Chief Research Officer

Originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Chris Mills relocated to Tallahassee in 2009 to pursue a M.S. degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Florida State University. In 2013, he enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Computer Science specializing in software engineering applications of machine learning and related techniques in the broader field of Artificial Intelligence. His dissertation project focuses on automating software traceability maintenance through machine learning classification and will be completed in May 2019. Further, Chris has served as a technical consultant and software engineer for a large legal software company in the Tallahassee area as well as a team lead for the Florida Department of Education.

In his role as Director of Artificial Intelligence Research and Development, Chris designs, develops, and deploys large-scale, high-performance predictive models for use in system-of-record integrations, business intelligence solutions, and data analytics services for business performance optimization. Chris is focused on providing cutting edge AI products and data driven solutions to business problems.

When not having a conversation with a computer, Chris can be found documenting the rambunctious nature of his toddler on social media and spending time with his wife.
