Technical Support Engineer Interns provide help to clients across a wide range of first and third-party applications and services. Working alongside the i2x Support team, interns are expected to apply problem-solving and communication skills to research and solve client issues. If you have a passion for helping people and enjoy working through problems or puzzles, then we would like to know more about you.


What You'll Do:

·      Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems

·      Set up, install, configure and maintain computers, servers, applications and services

·      Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams

·      Communicate with clients via phone and email to answer simple IT questions

·      Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

What You'll Learn:

·      How to diagnose, research and solve client support issues

·      How to set up and maintain computing resources

·      How and when to ask for help

·      How to develop and cultivate customer relationships

·      How to perform time, task and knowledge management


·      Pursuing a degree in a STEM related field preferred

·      Familiarity with computer systems, applications, networks, mobile devices and other information technology

·      Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

·      Ability to self-manage time and tasks

·      Familiarity with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
